Deek Signs On Again

Dundonald are pleased to announce that influential midfielder Derek Wallace has signed a new two year contract. Derek who has been at the club since he was seventeen is the longest serving player and will be due a testimonial at the end of this new deal.


The club have also signed ex Rosyth midfielder John Duffy and ex Sauchie and Oakley defender James Ward. Welcome to the Bell boys.

Another Player Leaves Dundonald

Dundonald can confirm that Ryan McDonald has completed his transfer to Glenrothes Juniors. Ryan has been on loan at Glenrothes since the start of the season. The club wish Ryan all the best at his new club and hope he goes on to have a successful career.

Big Changes At Dundonald

Dundonald Bluebell have concluded a unique transfer deal with St Andrews United. Which sees ex Raith Rovers and Stirling Albion central defender Craig Wedderburn and prolific attacking midfielder / striker Barry Sibanda join the club. We welcome both guys to the club and look forward to seeing them in a blue shirt.

As part of the deal Ben Anthony, Scott Orrock, Scott Main and goalkeeper Rhory Mooney have joined St. Andrews. The club wish all the boys the very best of luck at their new club. A special thank you to Scott Main and Scott Orrock who have been a key part of the two promotion winning squads in recent years and Benjy who also played a massive part in last years promotion to the superleague. All will be welcomed back to Moorside park anytime in the future.

New Coach Joins Dundonald

Dundonald are pleased to announce that Ryan Blackadder has joined the club as coach. Ryan has senior experience as a player with Raith Rovers, Hamilton Accies and East Fife. He has also represented Scotland at under twenty one level. The club are confident that a long with Lee Dair these two experienced players can help our current squad to improve and adapt to playing in the super league.

Two More Added To Squad

Dundonald Bluebell are delighted to announce the signing of central defender Callum Rarity from Broxburn Athletic. Cal goes straight into the squad for Saturday’s cup tie with Scone. Welcome to the bell Cal.

Dundonald would also like to welcome goalkeeper Rhory Mooney to the club Rhory played for Hill of Beath last season and will provide some competition for the number one jersey. Welcome to the bell Rhory.

Dundonald Makes Changes To Management Team

Lee Richardson and John Steele have this morning resigned from their roles at the club to take up the management positions at Oakley. They both leave with the clubs best wishes.

We are also delighted to advise that Lee Dair has accepted the role of assistant manager at the club with immediate effect.

Joey Leaves For Tayport

Dundonald Bluebell can tonight announce that Stuart Walton has left the club to sign for Tayport Juniors. We wish Joey all the best at his new club and thank him for the last four years service he has given the bluebell where he was part of two promotion teams.

The club can also advise that Liam Rolland has left the club we wish Liam all the best in his future football career and thank him for his contribution while at the bell.

It was back to winning ways for Dundonald with a fine victory at Broxburn. The visitors were leading two nil before the home side reduced the deficit but Dundonald saw the game out and earned three good points away from home.

Kelty Hearts  1   -  Dundonald 0

Dundonald recovered from a early error which allowed Kelty to take the lead and for long spells of this match it was the visitors who were in control but they could not get an equalizer.

Dundonald were unlucky not to take something from this match but if they continue to play like this they will be a match for any team in this league.

New Signings / Departing Players

The club has been active in the transfer market over the last few weeks and are delighted to announce the signings of striker Paul Quinn from Cumnock, Ricky Patrick from St Andrews, Ross Drummond from Berwick Rangers and Scott Morrison from Rosyth. We are still actively trying to improve the squad and hope to make another few signings in due course.

Leaving the club from last season’s squad are Shaun Keatings (St Andrews) Jason Quinn (retired), Lee Duffy (retired), Graeme Nutt and Jamie Gilfillan. The club would like to thank the guys for their contribution and wish them all the best in the future.

Management Appointment

Dundonald are delighted to announce that Stevie Kay has accepted the post of manager. Stevie has previously managed Oakley United and Ballingry Rovers as well as being assistant to Tam Courts at Kelty Hearts when they won the Superleague. Stevie has managed to win a trophy at every club he has been involved with at junior level and has extensive knowledge of the Superleague where he has been involved for a number of years.

Stevie has brought Lee Richardson and John Steele with him to form a his backroom staff. Lee joins as assistant manager and John as coach. Both have left the management posts at Rosyth FC to join the Bell. The club are delighted to get all three on board and welcome them to the club.

We can all now look forward to our first season in the superleague in what is sure to be a exciting season.

The clubs agm was held last night with an excellent turn out. The election of the officials for season 2016 /17 resulted in the following -

It is with regret that Dundonald have to announce that Craig Morrison and his management team have this morning resigned from their positions at the club after failing to agree terms on a new contract. The club would like to Craig and his team for their time at the club and their contribution in achieving promotion last season. We wish them all the best for the future.
